McKendree University students are gaining valuable experience and linking course work to their future careers by participating in the Career Services internship program this fall.

More than 160 upper class students will be serving as Peer Mentors in the more than 20 Iowa State University Learning Communities with ties to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) for the 2018-2019 academic year. Mentors help new students in the college make the transition to life at Iowa State. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities. The Iowa State University National Agri-Marketing Association (ISU NAMA) Student Chapter received the third place John Deere Signature Award at the 2018 Agri-Marketing Conference. This award is based on a points system from work through an entire year. The chapter receives points for chapter membership and participation, projects and activities, application and receipt of scholarships, participation in the student marketing competition, and receipt of other national awards.

New Student Orientation leaders at McKendree University help to introduce first-year students to life at college. NSO leaders are upperclassmen who oversee small groups and lead fun social activities, educational programs and volunteer service. UA Little Rock announces its spring 2018 Chancellor's List, recognizing students with superior academic performance in a semester. To be eligible for the Chancellor's List, students must be enrolled in at least nine credit hours and earn at least a 3.9 grade point average. Students must not have D, F, I or "no credit" grades on their semester grade reports.
