Meet the outstanding students who have been named to "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges" at McKendree University.

McKendree University's Chi Mu chapter of Kappa Delta Pi international honor society in education initiated new members in an initiation and pinning ceremony held on April 26 in Bothwell Chapel on campus.

McKendree University students will present, perform and exhibit their scholarly and creative works during the Academic Excellence Celebration on April 27 at the Lebanon, Illinois, campus.

The McKendree University Show Choir's spring performance, "Time," showcases superior student talent with group and specialty acts. See it April 21-22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts.

Wheaton College students performed in "Confessions," the annual spring dance show presented by Zoe's Feet Dance Ministry.

The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Conference, held March 30, is a premier annual event at The University of Alabama that provides students with the opportunity to highlight their research or creative activity. In addition to bringing attention to the outstanding work being done by UA's undergraduates, the conference allows students to gain experience presenting, become eligible for cash prizes, and form relationships with faculty mentors and fellow conference presenters. UA Little Rock announces its Chancellor's List, recognizing students with superior academic performance in a semester. To be eligible, students must have at least nine credit hours with a grade of A, B, C, or "credit" and at least a 3.9 grade point average. Students must not have D, F, I, or "no credit" grades on the semester grade report to be eligible.

Miami University awarded degrees to students during fall commencement exercises Friday December 13, 2016, at Millett Hall.

A total of 11,758 students enrolled during the 2016 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

It was a successful year for William Woods University academics. A total of 259 students were named to the Dean's List for academic accomplishments during the 2016 fall term. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must be full-time and have achieved a minimum 3.6 semester and cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Congratulations to all of the students who are honored on this list.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2016-17 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

The Iowa State University College of Engineering's Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

The following students have been named to the fall 2016 Dean's List at Southeast Missouri State University.

A total of 992 students have been named to the Carthage College Dean's List for the Fall 2016 semester.

Wheaton College (Ill.) students performed in "And It Was Good," the annual fall dance show presented by Zoe's Feet Dance Ministry.

McKendree University students represented Venezuela in the American Model United Nations conference held in Chicago from Nov. 19-22. Ninety-five universities and over 1,500 students represented 120 countries at the national conference, which simulates the global UN organization.

McKendree University theatre, music and dance students present the musical mystery comedy "Curtains," with music and lyrics by Kander and Ebb, at the Hettenhausen Center for the Arts for three performances, Nov. 4-6.

The incoming group of new students includes approximately 737 freshmen and 83 transfer students. They come from 17 U.S. states and seven foreign countries and territories. It is the most diverse class in Carthage history.

McKendree University welcomes a record number of first-year students this fall to its Lebanon, Ill., campus; Kentucky campuses; the Center at Scott Air Force Base; and online. The Class of 2020 represents 28 states and 20 countries!
